It was once again, a great Family Home Evening for March. We started out with a yummy chicken dinner. The chicken was coated in panko crumbs then cooked and served with a sauce. Thanks Grandma! Right after dinner Grandpa took the grandkids out on the train where Megan also got into the action and snuggled in with Sidney. There was just enough time fora little DDR before the lesson - go Ashley and Courtney. Lance's family conducted and made the dessert while Kyle's family did the lesson. We learned about our new prophet, President Monson, and then played bingo about those facts. It was very interesting and helped us get to know him better. Dessert was monkey bread (delicious no matter what you call it), banana bread (rumor has it that Ashley made it YUM!), and chocolate brownies - thanks Kelli! Lance and Kelli then decided to raise the bar by doing a little preliminary work for next month's family home evening. We were each secretly assigned a prophet that we need to learn about, then come and share those facts to see if anyone can guess who we are. So don't forget to do your homework and see you at Easter!

O.k. so the blog looks good...love the background. I'm so impressed...you're talented Lorri!
Okay, I'm jealous! Looks like you guys had a great time, as usual. Wish we could have been there. And I'm really wishing we could be there for Easter...who misses Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's? I'll expect more pictures!
