Our Easter started a few days before when Sophie received a package from Grandma and Grandpa. It had several fun things in it, but the most important thing was the gum! The nice thing was that it only took 1 1/2 days to chew it all!
Sophie and I made Easter Bunny cupcakes when we got home from church, and we had a great time decorating them. Chuck, Mary Ann, and Tessa came for dinner and festivities, which was a lot of fun! After dinner, Mark, Chuck, Tessa, and Sophie went out front to race remote control cars, and that sneaky Easter Bunny came while Sophie was out front racing cars, and she didn't even see him! She had a great time looking for the candy...and of course, eating it too.
Monday night (after the fact) we dyed eggs with Parker Griffes from next door. She kept asking when we were going to drink the pretty drinks. Sophie made all her's pink and could hardly wait to eat one the next day. So, first thing, we got out one of her pink eggs, cracked it, and she started eating it. The next few sentences out of her mouth went something like this: "This doesn't taste very good" "What is this yellow stuff?" "Do you think you could throw that part away Mom" "My stomach hurts" "I don't feel good" "Mom, I don't like Easter eggs" "Let's not eat these again"
Good times! Good memories in the making!

Those are great! I was excited to see someone post something :) Looks like you guys had a great Easter and boy the "gum" looks fun too! Maybe not as good as a really noisy fire engine at Christmas, but close.
Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Your kids or cute, but maybe I am biased because I am the aunt .
